Privacy Policy

RoamSpeak (“we,” “us”) is built by Spoken Systems. We make an AI interpreter for real conversations, and we designed it to respect the privacy of those conversations. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Our principles

• Privacy-first. We do not use advertising networks and we do not sell your conversations or personal data.
• Minimal by default. You can start a conversation without creating an account.
• Purpose-bound. We use data only to provide and improve interpretation.

Information we process

Audio and conversation content

To interpret a conversation, RoamSpeak processes your speech. Audio is captured only while a conversation is active and is sent to first-party services that perform speech recognition, interpretation, and speech output. We do not use your conversation content to serve advertising.

Conversation history

If you enable history, transcripts of your conversations are stored on your device so you can revisit them. You can delete individual conversations or clear all history at any time from within the app.

Device and diagnostic data

We process limited technical information needed to operate the service securely and reliably, for example, a device identifier used to verify legitimate app usage and basic diagnostic data to fix problems.

Subscription information

Purchases are handled by Apple. We receive confirmation of your subscription status to unlock features, but we do not receive your full payment details.

Microphone

RoamSpeak uses your microphone to hear what you say and interpret it for the person you’re speaking with. The microphone is only active during a conversation. You can manage this permission at any time in your device settings.

How we share data

We share data only with service providers that help us deliver interpretation (such as speech-to-text, translation, and text-to-speech processing) and that are bound to use it solely for that purpose. We may disclose information if required by law.

Your choices and rights

• Delete your conversation history from within the app.
• Disable history so transcripts are not saved.
• Manage microphone and other permissions in your device settings.
• Contact us to exercise privacy rights available to you under applicable law.

Children

RoamSpeak is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above when we do.
