These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RoamSpeak, an application provided by Spoken Systems (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using RoamSpeak, you agree to these Terms.

Using RoamSpeak

RoamSpeak is an AI interpreter that helps two people communicate across languages. You agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in unauthorized ways.

Interpretation is assistive, not guaranteed

RoamSpeak aims to convey meaning faithfully, and includes safeguards that confirm high-stakes details. Even so, automated interpretation can contain errors. For critical situations (medical, legal, financial, or safety-related) use independent judgment and, where appropriate, a qualified human interpreter. RoamSpeak is provided as an aid and is not a substitute for professional interpretation.

Subscriptions and purchases

RoamSpeak offers a free preview and paid subscription options. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled, and you can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings. Current pricing is shown in the app and on the App Store.

Your content

You retain rights to the content of your conversations. You grant us the limited permission needed to process that content to provide interpretation, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

RoamSpeak, including its software, design, and brand, is owned by Spoken Systems and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

RoamSpeak is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spoken Systems is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
